I love Summer, its heat and its sun sparkle, (nearly) as much as October and the richness of its palette, whether it be in colours, smells, temperature ...
But no, that's not Prévert and Kosma's song which inspires me today (anyway I prefer the tribute of it made by Gainsbourg), but the one of Francis Cabrel, "Octobre":
C'est une page d'art-Journal
It's an Art Journal page
It's an Art Journal page
(Don't ask me the name of these flowers: they come directly out of my imagination!)
(Don't ask me the name of these flowers: they come directly out of my imagination!)
"The wind will make the branches crack,
The mist will come in her white dress,
There will be leaves everywhere
lying on the pebbles
October will hold his revenge.
The sun will barely come out,
Our bodies will hide under wool bits,
Lost in your scarves
you will cross on evening
October asleep at fountains"
I started with spraying water and brushos on my gessoed page.

The flowers are made with my "bubbles" stencil, and I added text and flowers stamps. Shadows and reflections are made in the bubbles with DI Vintage Photo and a white ink.
I peeled off the plastic sheet of the remaining leaves, I inked them and glued here and there.
