C'est une chanson d'Ed Sheeran, Photograph, qui m'a inspiré ce tag:

An Ed Sheeran's song, Photograph, inspired this tag to me:

"So you can keep me

Inside the pocket

of your ripped jeans"...

Je suis partie d'une étiquette en carton très épais. Elle me plaisait pour ses motifs mais au final on n'en voit plus grand chose.... 

Quelques tampons sur du kraft, 

I started with a very thick cardboard tag. I liked it for its design, but in the end  it doesn't show so much... 

Some stamps on kraft paper,

des boutons et ce mini-jean en résine,

some buttons and these small resin jeans,

du fil et quelques embellissements,

thread and embellishments,

du masking tape et des notes de musique pour rappeler la chanson,

some tape and music notes remind the song,

et un titre adapté...

and an appropriate title...

... et voilà ma version!

... here is my version!

 C'est un tag rempli d'étoiles.

It's a tag full of stars.

 Du noir qui annonce l'hiver,

Some black announcing Winter,

du violet pour réchauffer,

purple to warm up,

 et du fil et des paillettes qui brillent

and thread and sparkles which shine

tout est prêt pour laisser libre cours à l'imagination....

everything's set to open imagination...

Sur un tag, j'ai collé une pluie d'étoiles restant d'une précédente création.

On a tag I glued a rain of stars, left over from a previous creation.

 J'ai couvert le tag de Gesso noir, puis j'ai passé de la cire irisée violette.

La branche est un chipboard embossé à la poudre frosted white.

I coated the tag with black gesso, then I put some violet wax.

The branch is a chipboard, embossed with frosted white powder.

 Un tampon texte est posé en blanc, et le mot est découpé à la Caméo dans un papier irisé rose.

A text stamp is put in white ink, and the word is cut with my Cameo machine, from a shining pink paper.

Ce mois-ci les chipboards de Scrapmatts sont à l'honneur, et voici ce qu'ils m'ont inspiré:

This month Scrapmatts chipboards are highlighted, and this is what they inspired to me:

Deux tags déclinant le même cadre ovale de chez Scrapmatts, sur un rectangle de papier aquarelle encré avec trois tons de Distress Oxides et tamponné, posé sur un morceau de Papier kraft Tim Holtz.

Two tags featuring the same Scrapmatts oval frame, on a rectangle of watercolour paper inked with Distress oxides and stamped, glued on a  piece of Tim Holtz kraft paper.

Sur le premier tag, des volutes de papier découpé dans une page de vieux livre,

On the first tag, swirls cut in a page of an old book,

 un cœur en bois couvert de pâte à craqueler et encré,

a wooden heart coated with crackle paste and inked

 du fil de coton

cotton thread

 une breloque et un mot Scrapmatts.

a charm and a Scrapmatts word.

Sur le deuxième tag, même décoration mais avec un tampon fleur sur la page de vieux livre.

On the second tag, same decoration but a flower is stamped on the book page.

 

Le cadre est décoré avec des micro billes et trois fleurs en tissu,

The frame is decorated with microbeads and three fabric flowers,

Un morceau de ruban et une petite breloque "clé" sont ajoutés.
A piece of ribbon and a "key" charm are added.

Le chant des oiseaux (DT Creative Artiste)

A nouveau mois, nouveau challenge  sur Creative Artiste! Pas (encore) de thème de Noël pour moi, mais toujours la musique, cette fois déclinée sur le chant des oiseaux:

A new month, a new challenge at Creative Artiste!

No (yet) Christmas theme for me, but still music, in offering a range about birds 'songs.

Ce sont six tags fabriqués sur le même modèle. 

These are six tags  based on the same shape.

Un fond (un papier Tim Holtz kraft-resist) encré,

A background (an inked  Tim Holtz kraft-resist paper), 

une superposition de papiers, toile, fils (pour figurer les éléments du nid de l'oiseau), 

a pile of papers, burlap, threads (to depict bird's nest),

et une image d'oiseau vintage (Madame Payraud's).

Une petite étiquette imprimée et encrée reprend les mots que m'inspire le chant des oiseaux.

A small printed and inked tag shows the words that birds' songs inspire to me.

J'ai choisi celui d'août 2014: "Summertime", histoire d'exorciser cet hiver finissant, et rêver à de nouvelles contrées ensoleillées!

 Un ruban jaune est un peu taché d'encre vintage photo DI.
I stained a yellow ribbon with Vintage photo DI.

Le mot "Trésor" apparaît sous la carte...

The word "treasure" appears under the map...

... et le bateau semble flotter au fond d'une bouteille à la mer!

... and the ship seems floating at the bottom of a message in a bottle!

Je suis partie d'un morceau de carton, coupé d'une boîte à gâteau du pâtissier.

I started  with a piece of cardboard from a pastry box.

J'ai imprimé la carte du monde ancienne sur une serviette, que j'ai collée sur le carton. Puis j'ai encré pour rehausser les couleurs.

I printed an ancient world map on a serviette, that I glued on the cardboard. I inked it to enhance the colours.

Le tout est recoupé en tag, et j'ai encré les bords. J'ai dû me forcer à m'arrêter et ne rien ajouter dessus: c'est un marque-page et il devait rester plat!

Then it's cut as a tag, and I inked the edges. I had to stop myself adding things on it: that's a bookmark which needs to stay flat!
