A flot

For a long time I wished I took my Gelli Plate out again, and experiment with inks (which is not recommended but I have a taste for adventure!)
Of course (?) my first attempts were not successful:

and I was about to waste this paper when I tried something:

Je l'ai recoupé,
I trimmed it,
tamponné,
stamped it,
stamped again the ship on a larger card,
that I inked and stamped again...
 Et voilà!

J'inscris cette carte aux challenges
Spring is in the air, A Vintage Journey
et
From trash to treasure, Stamps and Stencils
(even if I recycle here only my own product).

 Bon dimanche!
Lys.

  7. Oh gorgeous - so glad you didn't throw away your inky scrap - it makes a really magical creation in the end. Love the ship, and the background script - and the twine and metal button finish it off perfectly. Thanks so much for joining us on A Vintage Journey.

  9. Love your nautical project with that great vintage ship and the script. The colour palette is perfect for this piece, which would be special for a fellow. So glad you saved the Gelli print and transformed it into this - way better than putting it in the garbage. Thanks for joining us at Stamps and Stencils.
    Hugs!
