Today, a sober card for a (though "important"!) Birthday:
Joyeux anniversaire est tamponné à la Versamark puis embossé à chaud avec de la poudre noire.
The title is stamped with Versamark and black powder.

On voit ainsi mieux le fond: ce sont des brushos sur du papier aquarelle. Puis quelques touches d'encre sont ajoutées. Des tampons sont appliqués sur le tout.
So you can see better the background: brushos on a watercolour paper, then touches of inks, and stamps in white and blue.
Des tampons aussi sur un papier coupé en bandes et encré, sont posés sous un morceau de page de livre légèrement blanchi au Gesso. Bien sûr le texte n'est pas choisi par hasard: c'est un morceau de dictionnaire évoquant le mot "important".
Stamps as well on strips of paper, glued under a piece of book page, slightly whitened with Gesso. Of course the book was not randomly chosen: it's a dictionary page piece showing the word "important".
