Voici une petite carte que j'ai pris grand plaisir à faire:

"My beautiful fir tree... king of the forests"
For a special day, a special card!

Here is a card I had fun making:

je voulais un sapin riche,

I wished a rich Christmas tree,

avec des rouge et vert traditionnels,

with traditional red and green,

une guirlande rouge et des boules de verre,

a red garland and glass baubles,

Bien sûr il est paré d'or et d'étoiles,

Of course he's dressed up with gold and stars, 

et il se fait le messager d'espoir pour la nouvelle année.

and he's the messenger of hope for the New Year.

Vite! il me faut l'envoyer sans tarder, voici la neige qui  commence à tomber... 
Hurry up! I have to send it without further ado, here's the snow beginning to fall...

Je coiffe mon sapin de sa couronne de roi... et je vous dis:

I put a star as a crown on my king tree's head... and I tell you:
